The traditions, the nature and the location of Tryavna Municipality are a prerequisite for the development of different types of tourism.
The relief and the climate of the region are the reason because of which the town Tryavna has been selected by King Boris III and Queen Joanna for building a children sanatorium for lung diseases, discovered in 1944. The first SOS Children's Village in our country was also build here in 1993.

The town of Plachkovtsi is located in the foothills of the Balkan Mountains, touching Balgarka Natural Park. Our location is an excellent starting point for exploring the mountain.
